Reflecting the ever increasing flow and complexity of information that executives must deal with, Time Management has become one of Dr. Hymans most popular seminars. The course is offered in both two hour and half day versions. By the end of the course participants are able to:
Indicate how they will apply Time Management concepts to their daily work
Write and prioritize realistic objectives
Create and stick to Daily Plans based on the prioritized objectives
Create an Action Plan for change. |
Methodology Working in groups, participants analyze case studies that reflect work similar to that of the client firm. The goal is to identify activities in the case study where time is being wasted. For new clients, Dr. Hyman does in depth research on the company and, if possible, the type of work performed by the actual attendees. As Dr. Hyman works with the client over time, the case studies become more and more targeted to the participants actual duties.
After a group discussion of the case studies Dr. Hyman presents a series of time management concepts. These include:

Using these concepts, Dr. Hyman leads a series of exercises in which the participants:
Role play to learn how to avoid being overburdened with low priority tasks and how to get things done through others
Evaluate their own job goals and priorities
Learn how to set SMART ( Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timed) objectives
Learn how to construct viable daily plans. |
