About Beverly Hyman

Beverly Hyman received her Ph.D. in Media, Culture and Communication from New York University and her Masters in Education from Hofstra University. In 2008 and 2003 NYU awarded her their Distinguished Alumni Award and their Meritorious Service Award.

Beverly Hyman is a featured speaker at conferences worldwide. She has facilitated the Day of the International Woman at the UN. She has been a featured speaker at the National Human Resources Conferences, the AFL-CIO Professional Employees Conference, and many industry conferences.

As a result of publishing How to Know If It’s Time To Go: A 10 Step Reality Test for Your Marriage in March 2010, Dr. Hyman has been interviewed on national network television in the U.S. and fields radio interviews worldwide on a weekly basis. She has had her own television interview show in the U.S. and has served as a consultant to public television.

Dr. Hyman has published numerous articles and two business books: How Successful Women Manage and Training for Productivity.

Dr. Hyman serves as a Trustee of New York University and is President of the New York University Alumni Association (500,000 million members). She has chaired the board of NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
